A stress-relieving game for young adults.

The Base is a role-playing game that allows users to take breaks from their stressful daily lives by having an immersive experience. In the game, users can obtain the realization and satisfaction of self-worth by completing simple tasks and returning with positive feedback.
Problem
In Asia, the competitive environment makes an excessive amount of citizens mentally and physically ill. The pressure they get from the external environment makes many Asians fail to regulate their emotion.
User Research
We aim to find a way to help the young Asian population relieve their stress in this fast-paced and competitive society.
Define
Mission: Through mobile games, give users moments of breath from their stressful moments.

Goals:
  1. Make users feel accomplished and self-worthy.
  2. Keep users mentally and physically relaxed.
  3. Low learning curve.
  4. Less amount of time requirement for gameplay.
Why a mobile game?
  1. Conveniency: users can play games anytime anywhere.
  2. Popularity: mobile games are popular among young Asians.
  3. Low starting cost: no specific device requirements for the gameplay.
Ideation
About This Game: A stress relief farming game that provides users relaxing immersive gaming experience through discovering mysteries and building their worlds.

Game Background:
A researcher from Pegasus Galaxy started their research on a blue ocean planet (Earth) in the Milky Way Galaxy. They need to discover the buried history under the water, set up the base to restore prehistoric civilization & extinct ecosystems, and place the test subjects as the new residents.
Features
  1. Discover And Repair: Find the fragments that are stored under the ocean and earth, and recover their original features.
    Design Intention: Relax in a clean and beautiful environment.
  2. Reconstruct: Reconstruct the buildings and interiors based on the discovery.
    Design Intention: Get accomplishment and self-confidence.
  3. Rebuild Culture And Ecosystem: A testing species will be placed in the base to recover the cultures and languages. These new residents will imitate the culture and live on earth. Players will monitor and record their daily lives and status.
    Design Intention: Immersive gameplay by observing these digital lives.
  4. AR Gameplay: Reconstruct the buildings and interiors based on the discovery.
    Design Intention: Get accomplishment and self-confidence.
